
Hi, I’m Matt. I’m an Experience Design (XD) Director with more than two decades of professional experience across AAA game development, web design, and interactive media. My career began in the ‘Flash’ and web 2.0 era where I developed a strong foundation in interactive design, web design, visual communication, and user experience while creating a wide range of digital products for diverse clients and industries.
I transitioned into game development at Electronic Arts, where I spent 15 years creating UI/UX and game features for major franchises including Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, NBA LIVE, and Madden NFL. Working on large, fast-paced annual titles taught me how to build scalable UI/UX systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver results under demanding timelines.
Today, I’m part of Activision and Infinity Ward, where I work on the Call of Duty franchise. My focus is on building and inspiring teams, shaping cohesive UI/UX strategies, and delivering player-focused improvements that simplify the experience and drive engagement. I’m passionate about mentorship, elevating design practices, and fostering a team culture where designers can innovate and make great games.
